The business was running on spreadsheets and message threads. Import Pro then took the shipment lifecycle, so contract, letter of credit, bill of entry and lifting all sit on the shipment itself and the cost sheet recomputes as duty is paid.
Vehicle movements were tracked in registers, proof of delivery was on paper, and billing disputes were settled by whoever remembered the trip best. Growth meant hiring more coordinators rather than moving more freight.
Trip planning, vehicle utilisation and freight cost per consignment moved onto one screen. Proof of delivery is now captured digitally at the point of delivery, which removed the majority of billing disputes, and customers can see dispatch status without calling the office.
